Im about to start ordering parts to do my 52 spring conversion...i wanna use stock springs for the $$$ reason...im also gonna do a tapered zero rate...but thats 5 inches i want some shackle angle so thats prolly gonna give me 1/2 inch....i talked to kert today about making some drop b-52s but they will really mess up my caster...remeber this truck is still driven on the street...any ideas???

I really can't say how many you'd need. I'd start with one and see how it sits. If it's not tall enough add another. Be sure to get some new spring pins, especially longer ones if you go with a zero rate.

get some 2" lift blocks and stick 'em under the leaf spring.

JK. what i had palnned on doing was getting stock 52s, w/o the overload, 1" zero rate, 7 1/4" shackle, and 2" AAL from suspension connection. but after seeing how it sits so far, i think i'm going to hold off on the AAL. the rear sits slightly higher right now with the 52s/zero rate/7 1/4". i think the drop down B52 would be great...or some taller zero rates?...

I know you said you want use the stock springs but you could get the 2" tough county ez rides. I already had those in the rear so when I did my 52 & 56 conversion I used them. I have 37"s and they stuff real hard into the wheel well, I ended up taking the inner fenders out for more uptravel. My stockers were beat pretty bad after 150,000+ thousand miles so I was a little worried about spring wrap. I did take the overloads out though
Or you could get a add a leaf, though I have heard mixed reviews of those.

Use longer shackles and drop the front spring perch down by spacing it out with some box tubing.

im actually gonna keep running my bds 6 inch springs and move my shackle eye foward to gimme better shackle angle...thanks though guys!!
