best way to get grease OUT of bearings??

The PO that had the 14bff installed new bearings but he packed them with grease, I have been told you dont need grease for the 14bff bearings since they get lubed with the gear lube, so what is the best way to get the grease out?? brake cleaner??

i packed my bearings when i did my 14 bolt. is that bad?? im about to put the axles in!!!!

Solvent! I know most of you dont have a solvent tank, but it is the easiest way!

we usually grease them as well. the fluid doesnt instantly get down the tube to the bearings so there dry for a little while till the fluid workse its way down there. i think any way.

There is absolutely no need to pack the bearings with grease on an oil bath hub.

All the grease does is make a gooy mess.
Squirt some gear lube on the bearings and let it run through, install the hub and prefill it before installing the outer bearing.
Assemble the hub and make sure the diff is full.
If ya are that concerned raise one wheel at a time for a few minutes.
The lube will drain into the hub and fill it.
The gear lube in the diff suppies lube to the bearings.
I have assembled thousands of hubs without packing the bearings with grease.
Never had a problem.
I generaly don't raise a wheel unless I get in a hurry and didn't prefill the hub before installing the outer bearing.
