I just bought a driver's side battery tray for my K5 to be able to run dual batteries for my accessories. I've been looking at isolators and have seen so many available. I'm not exactly sure how much I would need (amp wise) or how much my alternator puts out but's it's stock. Just for info I have an 800 watt stereo system, a winch, electric fan, and when I finish installing my lights I'll have 8 so far and 4 of them are 100 watts each. I would also like to install a decent sized power inverter in the back once I get everything figured out. Any and all suggestions are welcomed!

I went with a cheapo..... $15 on a store closeout.....

mine is a 90a.. but with a 63a stock alternator I am good... for now.. will end up buying a new one in the future though.... if I go for the pontiac transport upgrade then you need at least the 150a....

no I am not still using the ground cable on my isolator.. was a temporary deal to get it working... :haha:
