Betty White - 1990 K5 build

Found a plug coming out of one of the rear tires, I figured it was time for new shoes. Went with a set of Cooper discoverer STT pro 35x12.50r15 on the already there Eagle Alloy rims. Sure beats the mismatch tires I picked it up with. Then she got a bath to wipe the blue off the white letters

Everything was working fine, but she obviously wanted me to work on her. She threw a belt on the way home from dinner one night, still not sure how. Think it was an old AC condenser. Once I got it off, the pulley sounded like grinding. Replaced the AC condenser too that opened up a whole new can of worms

Finally had some time to throw on new lower molding on the passenger side. Figured I’d make it match, so I tore the old molding off the driver side and replaced that too. Bummed I lost the ‘1500’ logo, but looks better. Now just gotta find new front bumper and rear corner moldings to match

a couple pictures of the previously steam cleaned under carriage and engine bay. In the past while did new fuel injectors, starter, optima red top battery, fuel filter, ac relay, blower motor, a few fuses, spark plugs, and wires. Nothing wrong with it all, moreso for peace of mind.

Finally had some time to spend with the ol’ girl today. Replaced a/c system resistor, ignition coil with a MSD, knock sensor, coolant temp sensor, upper and lower radiator hoses, and did a coolant system flush. Sacrificed 2 old grips from my boys dirt bike as a funnel for the antifreeze.
