Been neglecting the ol' girl to a new shovelhead chopper project. While waiting for my motor to be rebuilt on that, spent some time with her. just small lingering items this time around. Replaced the passenger side door lock switch (wasnt working, now it is), and installad a CB/PA radio i ordered way back when with a speaker. also removed the old jack since the truck is too tall to utilize it anyways.

Got another hour or two with the ol' girl today and decided i should just take care of all the accessories while i was at it. got a new grant install kit for my grant wheel and got the horn up and running again. Turns out i had a broken tube thing on the turn signal cam ring, then i polished up the steering wheel a bit once complete for a test honk

Earlier in the week i noticed some leaking from the old water pump. decided to do a new water pump, water outlet housing, and thermostat. old one was 195 degree, put in a 180 then topped it off with fresh coolant. i did a coolant flush and new hoses all around a few months ago, so i left those as is for now

Got in some shop time again, this time for a quick Idle Air Control Valve swap. Quick painless job. We’ll see if it helps
