BFGoodrichAll+Terrain+T/A+KO Tires

I have a set of 285/75R16 BFG ATs on my 2500HD with over 60,000 miles on them and they still have decent tread left. Granted that was mostly unloaded highway miles but I'm still impressed and these are the most likely candidate when I replace them by this fall. They are not cheap but after price shopping they are not any more expensive than other name brand tires.

I've ran multiple sets of the older style MT's, Goodyear MT/R's, Trxus MT's, Swampers, etc... and the AT's definitely are not mud tires but are much better than other many other tires on the market. My friend has Rugged Trails on his Dodge and they have no traction in mud. I've gotten his 4wd truck stuck with an empty 18' flatbed and honestly thought the 4wd was not engaging it lost traction so quick and had no pull at all.

it's an all terrain, it's about the quietest tire you'll ever hear.. he!!, my KM2's are WAY more aggressive and you can barely hear them on the highway...

for a DD'r, it's hard to beat an AT BF, they last like 50, 60 grand, are an excellent wet weather tire, etc... it's not a mud or offroad tire... BF G has always made outstanding tires, from old school TA radial's to Mall terrains to modern day KM2's..

I agree with at least 50K out of the BFG ATs. I've had at least 3 sets of those. But....In my experience, the MTs don't last half that. They look great and work great offroad, but on pavement I need earplugs and can't use my phone. I've really hated the MTs on pavement and for the short life. I'm leaning towards Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Kevlar for my next purchase this week.

Anybody got any opinion on these Wrangler MT/Rs w/ Kevlar?

I get them on my Blazer and on my Ranger....only tire I use...I mostly drive on pavement, but they are nice and quiet and aggressive when you need it.

I'm running A/T KO's on my Suburban, 35X12.5X15 in size. They make enough noise to let you know they are there, but they're not louder than the wing window noise. If I let the truck sit for a week or more they do have a flat spot that smooths out after a 1/2 mile or so. With a Tru Track in the rear, I haven't had any traction issues even when they do pack with sticky clay mud like we have here, but I don't exactly mud-bog the thing.

They work great in ice & snow as well, you really can't go wrong with them I think.
