I didn't know one could yell over the internet. If we can keep the secondhand info to a minimum we would all be much better off. I am not mad at all nor are my panties in a bunch.

8.2 liter diesel

now i now enough about this engine it is regarded as a piece of junk overall soo this engine is not an option. i saw that a 6bt motor from cummings (5.9 liter) this should be a good engine ? because it was used im many things or not?

Unless you're doing a ton of heavy towing I'd look into a 6.2. They are decent engines that return good fuel mileage and are very simple. I removed my 355 and swapped in a 6.2 in my Jimmy and couldn't be happier with it.

If you're going to be doing a lot of towing I'd look into a Cummin's, but the 6BT swap is going to be a lot more involved and expensive. The 6.2's big advantage is that it'll just drop in without and crazy mods.
