Big Rocks/Tires-1, D60 Knuckle-0

It helps clear 15's easier. I believe you still have to grind the caliper some. Fred got the axle that way from the PO, but I have seen the tabs to weld on & also backing plates on Ebay.

I feel your pain.

Also went with a set of Dedenbears for the fix.
Did the full rebuild kits during the install and stopped death wobble too.

from way back...is the 44 caliper indeed for 15's and no grinding?
The D60 was owned by me and I sold it to an old member from Colorado Springs whom drove to my home and picked it up.
Once he got home with it, he kept the stock caliper mounts but cut the upper ears off. Then he took some flat stock, shaped them, drilled them and welded them on where the ears were cut off.
Next were the 3/4 ton rotors and calipers and "voila!", fitment for 15" wheels.

Fred bought the D60 from this member later. So he's got my old axle.

doesnt some company or someone make a bolt on bracket for putting d44 calipers on there? that would save me a whole bunch of money...unless anyone wants to buy 38" tsl radials on 15" rims lol, but this isnt the right place for that...:D
