Big thanks to the brotherhood

if anybody should be apoligizing it should be me. i was responsable for that group of trucks and just took for granett that sence its easy for me then nobody else will have any trubble at that spot. so shame on me for not being there for you. im glad you were ok. and finished out the weekend having fun. bb is an asoume event and i hope to see you back next year.

Don't feel bad Dirk it could have happened either way to anyone. Special thanx to the Watsons and Storm Trooper Those folks always seem to be there to help even if your rig is not so capable. I eco you guys in your im scared cry. Why just last year in the rain I was hanging off the side of hells and telling folks if u must know I am scared. Storm Trooper and Steve and some others were right there to let me know it was not that bad and laugh and most of all keep my fam safe.
I was never scared of hells though last year brought in some fear and Major Pucker. I only hope the some day when Trooper and or the watsons need help that I am there and am at least half a capable. If not them then I hope I can Pay it forward! and help the next folks along.
I was glad to know that after your roll you were ok. Whats wierd about it all to me is this. Before we even hit the trail I called Dave (Strom Trooper) to find out where he was and he was running late had a way late night the night before. I called an hour before your roll to see if he had some extra parts for ervin (oatsk5) who broke an Axle, I got no answer. So I assumed he'd catch up later (Storm Trooper) Then U roll over and who is there to help U, none other than the Man and Machine that had to back up 100yards of steep hells trail last year and lock on to me to keep the rubber side down none other than Trooper Dave. Where the Hell (no Pun) did U come from DAVE!
HAHA Love you all and I can't wait til we all do it again C-ya on da trail.

A steering column came loose on the ORD suburban at gold bar rim (I think) and I had a pulley installer/remover kit (which I left at camp) that could've been used to cut time and labor that Steve Watson used to repair the steering.

Then Jason4x4 spent a couple hours late into the night hammering apart his ujoints to swap around driveshaft parts. I was out cold and didn't know/ hear the hammering. The next morning he started hammering the ujoints back together and I said, stop, I have a ujoint press in the truck!

Funny, everybody jumped in to get me rolling, and I pay it forward by not having the tools on hand to help others? :doah:

Won't happen again next year!

WOW, Thanks!
I tend to sneak up on guys in trouble to help when I can.
I've been there when it comes to hoping someone would spot me as the pucker factor got big and I try to keep it in mind when someone else might need it.
I'M NEVER AFRAID TO ASK FOR A SPOT! so please ask....
and even though I've done that hill more times then I can remember, I still asked Danny to jump in and watch my passinger side on the way down.
I only wish I had got down sooner and could have spotted Brian but he roller before I even got my truck parked.
When I saw what happened I started to run up and then realized that my truck would do better to secure the roll then me. That's why I jumped back in and headed up.
.
Anyway, I appreciate the comendment and just want to let any of you know,
if possible, I will ALWAYS have your back.
