I have an 89 k5 with just 31x10.5x15 on it now. I am about to buy new tires. With all the clearence i have now i don't see why 33x12.5x15 wouldn't fit. Has anyone done this? /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

12.5 wide may rub , 10.5 wide may not . Depends on spring condition . I ran 32x11.50's stock for a long time , and never hit nothing except once in awhile inner fender kiss , looked like I had room for 33's , but never tried . There are several members running 33's with no lift , and several are the BFG 33x10.50r15 variety /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

I've got 35's on my '88 3/4 ton stock Suburban and only had to cut off about an inch or so from the back of the front wheelwell.

I can run them with no lift and a little trim (35X14's)
Whats wrong with that Bubba? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
It's been posted many times that all trucks are different , some are able to get away with it

Now calling someone a goofball because of that is just ignorant /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif

They didnt, dont worry.

I run 36's with just a 2" BL and no trimming. One of your biggest factors is gonna be tire width, and the other is rim choise. My 33x12.5 BFG's would rub at full lock and full flex, they were mounted on stock ralleys. My Q78's (~36x10.5), mounted on 5.5" wide waggy rims with almost 4" of backspacing dont rub at all, although they look like they would.
