I bottomed out a Bilstein 7100 series shock. Rebuild kits have the o-rings and internal parts but I need a new end cap. Found this # (800) 537-1085 for Bilstein America but after 1.5hrs on hold I gave up. I cant find any diagrams with part numbers. I would also like to get some stiffer valving. AK7112SB is the shock I am working on.

Years ago when my buddy blew out his 8100 series trying to break his Ferd cRaptor I got bugged Bilstein and they told me to contact https://downsouthmotorsports.com. They got me the parts.

I tried these guys but I don't remember why I didn't buy from them:

What I've learned since is that no one wants to deal with rebuilding Bilstein shocks or tuning them anymore so if you find someone that supposedly does, contact them, and they don't anymore. I was going to buy a set of 8100 for the Rubicant but that was a deterrent for me. So I bought Fox as King didn't have what I was looking for.

Thanks man! They are simple to rebuild and I have nitrogen but without parts I am stuck.

The shock didn't fail, my bump stop was wrong and I bottomed out over a dune at sand hollow during the off road games. My fault. That damaged the end cap which is hard to find apparently.

Kings were on intergalactic backorder when I built the rig and I was also trying to stay on a budget. Rebuilding Bilstein was very budget friendly.

Kartek off road listed 1 in stock. Ordered it, we will see what shows up. Still need to learn about valving but this is a start.

Kartek is a great company. They're big in the desert race scene. I've been trying to find a reason to get a fuel cell for the K5.
