And dan you gonna leave the top off for tommorow? I kinda wanted to pull mine off but looks like rain friday and thats just too much work to do for one day. Or if you need help stickin yours back on im just down the way.

And Chris, i would have if I got the cage on but I had to pull it to work on the cage more and so I put the top back on.
Once I get the cage done, Ill be going topless alot more :waytogo:

I do get a contractors discount for tube up here at Metal Works. It's the only reason I can afford to destroy so much. :wink1:

I got B*^%*ed at for hours for mentioning pipe. Just go tube:thumb:

BTW pipe is measured ID (Inner Diameter), tubing is OD (Outer Diameter)

Ha price differance. 4 sticks 1.5" SCH 40 pipe is roughly $160. 4 sticks 1.75 DOM is like $600..... Yeah yikes is what i said too lol. If you go to my thread and read back a few posts you will see the whole argument so it doesnt have to get reposted here too lol.
 
Yep, I've been getting 20' sticks of 1.75 DOM for just under $90.00. Even the 1.5 DOM that I used for slugs was still close to that price. :doah:

Oh man you do get it cheap! I was hearing $150 a stick was the going price.
 
One of the times I went in there, I ordered 2 sticks and a ~7' 2x6 .250 wall for the sliders. The brought me the invoice and it was something like $350-$360. I reminded them of the contractor discount and walked out of there for something like $250.

The CD has definitely saved a couple dollars to by beer when I'm bending. :D
