Ever fix the steering box?
PSC warrantied it but it still makes the some groaning only worse now. Even with their pump and their swepco approved fluid. They said it’s the tires, I said their shit sucks. One day when I care enough again I’ll ship it to redhead and let them work it over.

Try bench works in Phoenix. Haven’t heard good things about Red Head either

But if you turn that stereo up, it won’t matter
Pick some good tunes for Blazerbash

I should be out in the shop ripping the old stuff out but this weather has me thinking a nap by the fire is better.

Started yanking the previous owners crap out and got the sub box positioned. Going to be moving the 6x9’s down to the floor behind the front seats. Out of the area people put their feet but closer to me and should have a better sound stage than mounted on top of the rear fenders blowing up. Also ripped out the crappy wiring he had run. New head unit will be mounted in the center console of the Tuffy for easy finger tip control. At least the sub amp will be mounted under the passenger seat but I may be able to squeeze the speaker amp in there as well. All new 0ga wiring from the battery to a distribution block and then 4ga to the amps. All new 14ga for the speakers. Dash speakers probably need some upgrading from the Walmart jobs that I put in to get something going when I bought the truck. Don’t think they’ll like the 100w I’ll be sending to them haha. Going to be interesting trying to hide wires with no carpet or panels. I’ll figure something out. Maybe run some type of conduit under the truck? Could just wire loom it and have it run low along the edges.

Think I’m going to mount the amps on the back of the sub box. Trying to eliminate as many wire runs as possible.

Haha not yet. Just the volcano for now. But I have been having an itch to build a nitrous rig for a year or so now. The volcano will make it easy.

So. Since no one else was reading today, where the rest of the MPFI kit. I presume the Term X?

That's the plan. Last year was unscrewing the rig from the PO. This year I want to have some fun with it.

Finally got a day at home alone. Started working on the stereo system. Made one helluva dent in it. Still 4-5 hours left to go before it’s going. Been a challenge trying to hide wires with no carpet. Everything has to be run underneath. But I’m getting through it. I still need to mount the sub box, run and terminate the dash speakers, mount the radio and run power and ground. I bought shorter rca's and those will be here Tuesday. Then it's paint the speaker brackets and fire it up. I also cooked up some beef ribs for dinner that turned out amazing.

Stereo is done. Just need to make some custom straps for the sub box. Sounds really nice for a budget stereo. Also got the disconnect on the winch done. Need to shorten up the leads to the battery and that’ll be done.

And it wouldn’t be the Shiti Chevy if I didn’t have to go and fix something from the previous owner.
