Sub box is bolted down. But the fun news is I dropped my spare block off at the machine shop to get machined for the 383 stroker!

Got the garage trim removed and I can finally drive the truck in and out of the garage with only minor scrapeage. But now the transmission doesn’t want to shift unless it’s done manually. Hopefully that’s just the vac line to the modulator falling off.
SYE, driveshaft, and spring perches are ordered. Ouch.
I’m about partied out for the year haha.
It's kinda odd, but I often get just as big of a kick from the upgrades that aren't as easy to see.
I'm excited about them. Hopefully this solves the drivetrain noise I've got and I can start driving the truck more. Also means I'm going to be forced to redo my exhaust as the h-pipe goes right underneath the t-case. Been wanting to get it piped all the way out the back anyways. Tired of the dumped noise. Can't even hear the subs.

I’m pretty certain the new engine will be loud enough haha.
Got the transfer case out and apart. Nothing real bad other than a bunch of silicone bits scattered throughout. Going to do a complete rebuild and new chain as well as the sye. Going to buy a couple of 5gal buckets and a few gallons of simple green and soak and scrub stuff before reassembly.
Goodies arrived. Driveshaft came also but I didn’t take pictures. Spring perches also showed up.
Best thing that’s happened all week.
Finally see the finish line. Those individual needle bearings are dumb. I’m also dumb for realizing I forgot to install parts 4 times and had to take it in and out.
Finally back together. It shifts and things spin like they are supposed to hahaha. Little difficult to shift out of 2wd but you twist the shafts enough and it shifts.

Yes I did. Got tired of having to drop the tires down to 0 to get it low enough to drive out of the garage. Now I drop them from 35 to 25. I don’t really have to drop them at all now but if I don’t it still rubs. I need to go do the chalk test and see how low I can get them and get a good pattern and then live with it. Maybe I’ll chop the roof a couple of inches haha.
I used to run mine at 25 no problem on the street. Killed the power and fuel economy a bit but rode nice.
It’s a stock 350 on 37’s with 4.88’s and a 3 spd. Mileage and power are measured by single digits haha.
Drunk me got ambitious last night. Still need to remove the h-pipe and then bolt the shafts in and fill it with fluid.
