Dear members,

I am from the Netherlands (europe), and i want to ask something. I want to buy me a Blazer /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif from 1977, but the 1 that i saw has continuous 4x4 drive. i can not drive in 2 weel drive only in 4 weel drive, is this normal or even posible.

Thanks Guys and girls (great forum and site)

Kind regards, Henk

yeah, some Blazers have np203 transfer cases in them, they are full-time 4wd. There is nothing wrong with a full-time 4wd system... but if you wanted to be able to go into 2wd, they do make a part-time conversion kit for the np203.

hi!! welcome...and nope...its perfectly normal! a lot of the trucks and blazers from the 70s had 203 t-cases like mentioned...my dad has one in his 79...works fine...only thing it wastes a little more gas, but other than that its fine.
