Blazer bash 2008 MOAB!!

No pictures last night because about one hour into our 10 hour drive we totally lost 5th gear in the Dodge and drove 14.5 hours home at 55 mph. Used one extra tank of fuel and made for a very long drive. By the time we made Bakersfield the tranny was make noise in all gears but held together to make it home. Este will be posting tons of pictures once he is rested and had time to catch up with his family.

My wife and I ended up in Moab for BB on Saturday night. I got the last room available at the Aarchway Inn, it was a King Suite for the normal renting price of $119 a night. Even though the counter person didn't know about the CK5 discount, she gave it to me any way. The room was $87 with tax. The rooms are very nice, clean and quiet!

Thanks to Dirkster for his work in arranging this discount. As Wasted Wages, Storm Trooper will attest too there is ample parking for tow rigs and trucks. It is too bad more people didn't take advantage of this opportunity.

I can agree my room there was nice and the food was good for breakfast. The wedding on Saturday night was kind of weird but hey its Moab :D

Yeah, we were just outside the pool, I had just gotten to sleep and all of a sudden it was like all hell broke loose. I peeked out of the curtains and here are 2 little cuties smooching with some snot nosed punk right next to my window. I called the front desk to complain, their answer was the music will be shut off at 10. Sunday morning the lady at the desk told me it was their first and last wedding reception. Otherwise the Inn was just fine!

Other that the invasion of the snooty Hummer owners, the archway was very nice.

BTW, one of the humm drivers managed to turn his 150K H1 completely over on it's top...:haha::haha::haha: Took 3 days to get it off the trail. about 30K in damage..

Sat. night one of the hummers broke an axleshaft,,,the owner had "hummer rescue" come out with a complete shop in a trailer and change the axleshaft overnight for him,,,more money than brains.....:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Another one of the owners told us that some of the hummer owners had hired "professional off-road drivers " to take them out on the trails..:haha::haha:

Ya'll need to stay in the same campground , we oughta have a rule

Your one of the peeps I didn't get to meet yet
