I really want to go. Showed my wife your guys pics of 08. Now she wants to go. I've already secured a tow rig and babysitting for my boys so we can get away. I just have to make sure I pay off a bunch of dept first. I think I'm 50 /50 on going at this point.
It would be a fun old time road trip for me and the wife.

I am going, one way or another this time. Should have the lift in, axles in, maybe the winch bought and installed. Hopefully a 383 under the hood, and some major rust repair done.

Got my reservations at Slickrock, If you are doing res's there new rules you need to bring your own bedding for the cabins,
I am going to have to go get a 2009 calendar just so I can put BB09 on it.

That must be why it's impossible to get a cabin since I wait until August to get reservations!
I'm hoping to go again, but my wife has already said she's not going since we'll have a new 6 month old baby boy to take care of. Maybe she'll let me go with some buddy's instead...

Hmmm.....Its possible for me to make those dates provided gas doesnt go back up to $4/gallon and my cooling system can handle it.
Yeah it would be nice if it stays under $2/gal, but I'm not holding my breath.

Diesel is down to $1.84 here. Too bad I do not have a 500 gallon tank. I told my wife it would be "investing in the future". She did not go for it. $160 round trip. Not bad.

My wife used a Safeway discount and paid $1.02 a gallon for gas.
