Blazer Bash 2009

Get the 32 spline stuff in the my 205 and 60, get the axle shafts cut for my drive shaft yokes and weld that up, chop my rockers for some 2x6 (thats been sitting in my garage for a year), tear apart my rear suspension make a flip and adjust my leaf pack, weld up some diff covers, reweld my 14 bolt spiders the right way and shave it while I am at it. If I somehow get all that done I will probably narrow it front a rear not sure on that part though

since im not worried about the rest of the fab on the trazer because ive got alot of time to do it im only worried about getting a 60 for a fair price and getting 40 inch tsl's anyone on here be able to help out with that stuff oh and i need a 205 also doesnt matter what spline

ARBs work well... but enough of that.

I'd like to think I'll get to that part over X-mas.

I tried to get started on it over T-day, but it's kinda hard to do when you're out on a trail...:D
No progress on my planned upgrades, either...
I have NO planned upgrades this year!

Except maybe a rear window for that other rig? ;)

Edit: I forgot the smiley icon after that

If I run into trouble with the K5, I think I'll just abscond with the FJ40... :D

If my blazer is done in time I'd love to wheel in moab. I'll have to see if a few of my fellow Canucks wanna make the road trip with me. :D
Just google'd it;
1,806 km – about 17 hours 29 mins:cool1:

My current plan is to go attend CruiseMoab (the Land Cruiser event that Claudia likes to go to) again, but not sign up with their runs (or maybe just Golden Spike on Thursday), and spend at least two days on BB'09 trails.

Last year we spent a week in the area, and the runs leading up to the actual event were more awesome that the regular event runs. :D

OK. I somehow remembered this one. Here's the plan...

Moab-bound on Saturday, 4/25/09.
Stop in Mexican Hat. Exploration/Natural Bridges etc on Sunday.
Hotel Rock trail starting from Blanding on Monday.
Lockhart Basin on Tuesday.
CruiseMoab tech inspection on Wednesday, then maybe Fins...
Golden Spike on Thursday
WipeOutHill on Friday
Somewhere in Canyonlands on Saturday...

... P.S. Scott, I know I promised you verbiage for blazerbash.com... Sorry, it's been too much work lately, no real time, and no inspiration. I hope I get some on this trip...

My current thinking , and rightfully so , is save money and skip the Bash this year . I think I want to be able to buy many wonderful things in anticipation for my first born child on the way

OR

Do like I did a few years back and this is your last non daddy Hurrah! Blazer bash. It will change for you from here on out. It's not a bad change but still a change non the less.

I'm guessing that his wife would be pissed at him taking the fetus with him to Moab.

Just an assumption.

:doah:I guess it's closer than 9 months away now, but even better to have a vacation before the big day!

All I have to say on the subject is congrats to Pauly. I missed BB06 for the same reason. :waytogo:

Aside from that we've had some big time assist from some sponsors that is going to make registration fees very reasonable. Big thanks to DIY4x & Ruffstuff!

Michael, I expect you to come back fully inspired and ready to type! :rotfl: Have fun on your trip. :D
