Blazer bash 2009

I copied some of the posts with pictures to the "official picture & video" thread. As long as no one minds, I'm going to eventually get the pictures on a gallery page on blazerbash.com.

We're in Delta right now at Mom & Dad's; we drove over late last night. Today we'll make the rest of the drive home. I'd like to get some pictures posted up, but right not my computer doesn't want to talk to the camera. :dunno:

We really enjoyed the event this year and really appreciate all the "thanks" and "good job" we received. It's the enjoyment of everyone that attends that makes us want to do continue organizing and carrying on this ColoradoK5 tradition. We already have some ideas on how we can improve next years event.

I'm also very grateful for the attendance and support we received this year. Frankly I'm very surprised at the number of people who were able to make it this year given all the difficulties affecting many of us.

We only had 2 serious mishaps and of course they were on the last day. First one of the fittings on the hydraulic ram cracked loose, but fortunately we discovered it before we lost much fluid and it was an easy fix. The second thing to happen was I lost my cell phone somewhere on Strike Ravine. :( We went back and searched the first part of the trail with no luck. Of course the battery had died so we couldn't call the phone to aid our search.

So that explains Why you did not resopond to my Text......

JMS It was AWESOME talking with you hope to do that More.

I agree we have to do this again and again. My 4th time but only 2nd with a capable rig. The driver is getting better slowly also. JMS is always a pleasure to have as a trail leader, and Storm Trooper as a tail gunner.

Ran a couple fun trails with great people.

Great job on the organization Scott and Nicole!!

ORD fantastic job as always, Food was great!!!

Big thanks to the sponsors who donated some awesome swag, but the ticket picker is fired!! Just kidding.

That only gives me about a year to do some good upgrades like gearing and a winch so I can run with the bigger boys.

Thanks again!! Pics will be put in the other thread when I get a chance.

Probably not until the show either airs or gets canceled. Even then the chances are thin. I asked for a copy of some of their footage and they were hesitant with even me.

Anyone know if Krawler Nation will share some of the video?????????

In my experience NO.

just sort of the way it is. I have been promised DVDs of runs many times by other people and they have never come through.

Yeah, it was great, but you might want to check with Travis, he probably thinks I'm contaminating everything American with the way I tend to look at things...:D

Well, the video footage is property of their company, and their 'capital', so to speak. As soon as they give it to someone else, they loose both creative and marketing control, as well as exclusivity. So they'd be shooting themselves in the foot if they gave away video...

Hey Micheal, having different viewpoints, and still getting along, is what this country is all about. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations.

I apologize for the thread hijack.

I apologize for the thread hijack.

I just read this whole thread twice and I can find no such offence  - And JMS, I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation and wish we could have continued it without it getting "hi-jacked" We will continue where we left off, next time!;)

I still cant believe Dave won 5 times at the BBQ:haha:
I couldn't believe it either!
Had a great time with everyone, AZ, GJ and Cal. Guys & Gals.
A huge thanks to Scott & Nichole, ORD, the sponsors and everyone else that helped.
I thought it was a full success and I really want to thank all the guys on the trifecta with bad a$$ trucks that made it in record time without a single break. We somehow even passed group #1 with 10 trucks somehow  Not to forget Dirk who pushed us through fast!
Day 1 was awesome doing Gold Bar without a problem and day 3 with the
Cal. guys on Behind the Rocks trail without another problem and out by 5 PM. :waytogo::waytogo::waytogo::bow::bow::bow:
