We did the Moab winter trip out there several years in a row. Possibly the best wheeling trips I've ever had. One year we only went to town when we were leaving

I know I’m replying to an old post but this may help some newbs. 2018 was my first and only BB so far. I was riding on 33’s and I did Hell’s Revenge and Metal Masher without a scratch on the body. I did however peel my rear diff cover open about 3 different times. Smashed it back shut with a rock the last time. I’m on 35s now.
I do have an air locker.

They've discussed doing it later before, but this week always works out better for the people with kids.

I was going to mention that, but honestly it's a crapshoot. High desert is unpredictable.

I try to go out when it's colder.. You can always add more clothes if you're cold. But if you're hot you can only take so much off..

I'm from Arizona because I hate cold. As long as you're not stupid, it's hard to die from the heat, cold however...
Plus you don't have to shovel sunshine.
