This thing may look badass, but it can actually only handle #2 and #3 rated trails at best without it high-centering or rolling over.

Yeah, I thought the same thing, but it did great down there. Just gotta know your rig I guess.
While I respect your decision not to bring that truck to Moab for some of the off road adventures that are available, I know that you would have fun driving it up an riding with someone on the trails!I have owned my crew cab V3500 truck for close to 20-years, and I know it will high-center and roll over easy. My first square body was 1977 K30 single cab 350/SM465/NP205/Dana-60/CORP 14-Bolt that I bought in 1983. I have learned a little bit about chevy trucks in my life, but there are still people out there that know a lot more than I do. One thing I do know is that a clean rust free 1991 V3500 Crew Cab Silverado is too valuable to go rock crawling with.

I agree to not put such a clean truck in harm's way. My main point was you'd be surprised what works out there with the grip the Moab rocks provide.I have owned my crew cab V3500 truck for close to 20-years, and I know it will high-center and roll over easy. So my suggestion is to pick a few, and show up!
And just a note, I have watched @mrk5 do a good amount with his crewcab, but his isn't that shiny! It even went through mirror gulch!
I can't seem to narrow down my own choices, though.

Me and Ron's crawlabagos had everybody on their toes watching out for us due to our slightly higher center of gravity. Ron's is a little taller than mine and provided some solid entertainment on hell's with some three wheel action. But the crazy thing was how well they stuck to the rocks. Yeah we got tippy in spots but as long as it wasn't a crazy side hill we were fine. If the spotter didn't like what they saw they stopped us and sent us on a different line.
Correct. One of the Saturday trails two years ago was more scenic the off road , I believe it was long canyon.
That's the right idea. Getting out there even on the lesser trails still gets you out into some of the most amazing scenery in this country.I intend to show up to the Blazer Bash some day. I will only go on the easy Bunny Trails, and not the Black Diamond trails (ski lingo). If there was an easy scenic purposes only trail ride at the Blazer bash on a #2 or #3 rated trail for the wife and kids I would go on that.
I have seen the post you have made on your trail adventures, and there are some brutal trails you have taken your truck on that I would not take mine.

This will actually work very well in Moab. Is the truck lifted for the 35s? If not you will likely get some tires rubbinM1028 with D60/4.56/ limited slip front and 14FF/4.56/Detroit rear.

You need a trail rig to pull behind that awesome crew cab. Then you can still hit the trails and not worry.![]()

I believe you volunteeredAnyone keeping track of trail suggestions and days? I'm lost now.![]()

I have him leading 3 trails at the same time each day.
