Blazer Bash 2021 not Last Minute Thrash

We put Hankook tires on in Jan 2017 just before koh. It's been stored in the shop since we built it. No indication that it was going to throw the tread until it happened

That’s a real kick to the neck

yes separating tires, you can't see well are a bitch.

On a side note maybe rent a rv for BB ??

It will get fixed, but probably not for a couple months which means we'll miss trail hero too.

We're still waiting for the tow truck, should be here around 10...

Still on the side of the road, they're having trouble getting air to the suspension and brakes at the same time.

Got towed to Flagstaff. Once we were more than 6 inches off the shoulder of a 75mph 2 lane highway, we were able to repair the ground wires that got ripped off the battery and got it running. A friend came and got the trailer with the S-10 and our dogs. We're headed home now and will look at other repairs and give a damage report after some sleep.

Not home yet, currently in camp Verde getting food. Hoping that wakes me up enough to drive home

We may do blazer bash. We have to get home to assess the damage. We have no ability to run the house ac or charge the house batteries currently and we have a water leak when the system is pressurized. All things were need to work to live in this POS for a week

Last night we were under the assumption we were dropping the motorhome of in Flagstaff not too see it again for over a month. Now that it's running and driving we need to see what we can do

Glad that you are not on the side of the road anymore.
Just for future reference, the tow truck driver should have known and been able to cage the brake cans. The bolts are usually in a hanger on the side or end of the can. Then they could have only been concerned about the suspension.
Caging the brake cans must be remembered and undone when a parking brake is needed later, as in when they unhook. This also works if you lose a diaphragm in the park brake side of the can, and then the air line to emergency side of the can can be blocked to stop the air leak.
