We should be good, but if you have room, you might throw it in.Do you need me to bring mine? I will be there Thursday in the am.
I'm in the same boat. Got it all done held a vacuum charged and blew at the crimp. Had it re-crimped. Ran it down held a vacuum filled it up and blew cold for 2 days... Now nothing. No time to fix it before the weekend.Got my A/C put together yesterday. New compressor, new accumulator, new orifice tube. All components flushed, new o-rings. Held vacuum for 45 min. 134-a installed, one can with dye. Pressures looked good. 42 degree air from vents at idle! Yay!!! That lasted about 2 min. POS LMC high side hose started leaking at the crimp! Now searching for a crimping tool, and, or a new hose from LMC, on a 3 day holiday weekend....... F#@%!
It is in the truck along with the 1/2" impact. We should be good, but if you have room, you might throw it in.
I'm tired of this crap. I'm going to buy a nitrogen cylinder and regulator, so I can pressurize the system with dry nitrogen, and test for leaks, without losing $100 worth of freon.I'm in the same boat. That is what I do. Purging all of the atmosphere is a good thing also. The Restomod Air system I put in the Fugly Duckling comes with the evaporator and condenser charged with nitrogen.I'm tired of this crap.
