That's because the original designer had excellent taste, the design is awesome and timeless! May i go so far as to say iconic?

I agree it was a great design, with that being said maybe the original designer is still around and could be tracked down to do a makeover.

Can blazer bash be run as a non profit? Wouldn’t it be like any other club where members pay dues?

The permit for BLM and SITLA wouldn't be any different. We're already in that fee group/classification.

Technically I tried to talk them into putting us into the commercial category because then the permit fee is based on a percentage of the fees charged. I figured if we could get donations/sponsorship to cover the fixed costs, we wouldn't have to charge anything which would have made the permits cheaper. They didn't go for that.
