How about just separate admin access so it can be updated and used as needed? If ownership is the big issue then make it work and provide access. If that’s a roadblock of sorts.
I do know if you search Blazer Bash on instagram some women’s fashion crap comes up pretty frequently. Might be the entity looking for the domain.
The website mainly is to allow for the easy ability to pay for your spot on the trails, fees and t-shirts and an overview of the event and what trails by year. Due to the issues with updating the page it’s always directed back to CK5.com for specific discussions.
The money transaction side could probably be set directly into a business PayPal site if the BB domain is sold. Which might streamline what @mrk5 and @CK5 had to do on the backside to set the buttons to work on the BB page.

There's also a Blazer Bash event that the University of Alabama at Birmingham does. Their school mascot is a dragon called Blazer.
The Instagram stuff may just be because of the lack of updating on the Blazer bash site Instagram site.

Can blazer bash be run as a non profit? Wouldn’t it be like any other club where members pay dues?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the reason the social media and coverage here was pulled back in '23 was because BB was under the microscope of the powers that be in Moab and their like minded constituents?
I also noticed that the date was changed on the site to say 2024 which wouldn’t bode well since there wasn’t an actual event
