Just for some clarity, registration site says "Registration is for 1 vehicle and its driver and one passenger."
So does the $125 registration include one passenger or do I need to buy the extra $10 for a passenger?

OK, so I changed the wording on the registration page. I didn't write the information, nor I guess really check it at all. So hopefully the confusion is fixed. I didn't change it to a daily fee. Hopefully that isn't going to bite me in the butt. However this is all just big learning experience for me, and hopefully not a cost me money venture.
We, the event organizers, have to pay, after the event is over, a fee, to the BLM, for every person who was on the trail. Above and beyond the fee's to the BLM to run the trail. The school and the County just give a you can have this many people cost.

Why I want to be clear about how many people in my truck. So the event is not short. Definitely don't want anybody on the hook for those sight see'ers
I'll have my son with me, and I can just give cash at registration?

I don't know how much and don't need to know; but there was money left from last year since it officially never happened. I know myself and others didn't ask for a refund, just said to keep it as a fund for future events. that event money should be there to help keep the event going. just saying this as I don't know what it cost but hopefully there is enough that it wouldn't cost you personally.
The money left from last / previous years is what is paying for the permits so far. Insurance is the next big expense, getting it this week.
I got a stupid yet dumb awesome idea. What if I bring my 05 2wd tahoe and do the scenic trails. I would be more then happy with it and I can attend.

You can sign up and run any trail that you want. You do not have to run with the group. You do have to sign up to be in the raffle.
So do I get a prize driving Plank to the event and "flexing" on a rock?
