Cheyennes, actually, and High Sierras for the Jimmy versions. My best guess is that the plan with Chinook involved somebody going over to the GM line in Flint and snagging a Blazer or Jimmy that fit their bill of a particular color combo, top trim level, rally wheels, & such. One of the magazine ads for 'em shows dog dish wheels (I've seen a few like that), but the '77 brochures show white spoke wheels as an option, which makes me wonder if some of the ones I've seen with those had the original wheels that way from the facrory/dealership or if such spoke wheels were an aftermarket thing the various owners swapped in.
A bit tightly, I'd say. Good thing it hurts the truck worse than the camper roof.
That one is serial #0149, built in June 76. The seller told me about a pressing need to get rid of it, and some disappointment with a guy who didn't show up to get it, so maybe it can be had for a better price that's accompanied with a firm commitment to take it away.
