blazer factory speed sensor

Hi guys im new to the forums I was wondering does anyone know how to wire a factory speed sensor im doing a carb to tbi mod I pulled the speedometer sensor out of a 1988 sub it has four wires going into a light green plastic box one is pink, blk stripe / blk , white stripe / brown / yellow

im using the painless wiring harness 60101 I know I can buy their sensor but im trying to keep it as close to stock as i can

terminals 8,9, and 10 on the VSS buffer are all you need to run without cruise control.

The wiring apparently changed between makes and years, as brown is usually what goes to pin A10 on the ECM, blk/wht is ground, and pink/blk is 10A ignition switched 12V.
