Blazer frames HELP

Will 79 Blazer frame work under a 87 body???? Any major mods I got to do. I looked at it everything looks almost similar.

iirc they changed over in 80.. it can be done but requires custom rear cab mounting, etc...

The front end sheet metal changed between 80 and 81, but the frames changed in 78. in 77 there was no footwell behind the front seats, in 78 there was and the frame was changed. It remained the same until 91.

Yeah, I have an 81, but grafted the box part of a 73 onto it. (long story)

The footwell area and changed body mounts in that area made the job a lot harder than it had to be.
