blazer knuckle

hi Ive got an 87 k5 blazer and I broke the knuckle pressing in a new upper balljoint. ive looked on lmc and other gm websites and can not find a new knuckle. found a couple on ebay but id rather not buy something like used that I cant see first. if anyone knows where I can get a new knuckle or if a junk yard would be the best bet please let me know. correct me if im wrong but suburban and all k series truck in that 73-91 age frame knuckles will fit right? also my apologies if this has been answered before I just couldn't find it. new to the whole forum thing and I hope this is the correct place to post this.

What you are looking for is a knuckle from a 10 bolt front axle. It came on 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton 4wd chevy/gmc trucks/suburban/blazer. Years are from late 1970's to 1991. Expect to pay a premium for a brand new knuckle on eBay. Junkyard's are your best bet if you are budget limited. Google will help in your searches.

Are you needing a driver or passenger side?
I happen to have picked up a d44 flat top passenger knuckle at the salvage yard just a few days before I got my D60.
I would sell it if someone wanted to pay for shipping.
I'm considering putting it on eBay.
I know I'm not supposed to post that here, but I'm just trying to help an ol' boy out.
It has a bit of hammer rash from trying to get the ball joints loose, and I'll press out the remaining upper ball joint.

Thanks but I actually need the driver side. Has anyone ever run into the lower balljoint stud being too tall and not clearing the u joint?

Is it all the way down and the snap ring is on?

I'm almost positive it's all the way down and yes the snap ring is on. The one I took off to replace looked like the top of the stud had been hit.

You just need to find somebody who is doing a crossover steering conversion on a 10-bolt axle. All will have a PS knuckle left over and some will have both left over. Ideally you want one with the same steering arm you have, to save the effort of swapping it.

I've got a Dana 44 drivers side if that will work it still has the stock steering arm on it but i can remove that for you and the ball joints are out also

I found a d44 from a dodge. The hub is a 5 lug but could the knuckle have the six lug or is it completely different?
