Blazer's 85 Suburban "Twinkie"

Once I start driving this thing I really expect to be pulled over numerous times.

So going to make it as legal as possible

A couple of guys and a gall have been stopped for no light in Moab.

I wonder if its just that MI cops dont care. I have never had reverse lights, and last summer I backed out of a lot, and a cop was right behind me and never said anything. Also had zip tied plate on tube bumper with no light....

It has a light too.

With no doors windows mud flaps sitting on 38 inch swampers I will be a magnet for awhile.

Will be totally legal

I like that though. Im just waiting to get in trouble before I mess with anything. Might as well if they dont seem to care

We got pulled over in Moab for no rear bumper and the license plate light issue was also mentioned. I think it was more about the bumper than the light, tho. That and out of state plates.

I have been pulled over once purely for no license plate light but that was 1AM on a weekend and I'm pretty sure it was more about doing a sobriety check.

Didn't get ticketed either time.

I'll bring some tickets with me this year:waytogo:

So picture from today

Died after driving it about 20 miles shut off at idle.

Restarted after about 10 minutes of sitting. Then died after about five of running. Then restarted after sitting for about five then ran down the road about a mile got into the parking lot of my wife's school idled for about five then died again.

When the tow truck got there drove it on to the bed.

Drove it off the bed when I got home ran for about 5 minutes at idle in my drive way then died.

When it died in the driveway it surged a bit almost like it was leaning out then just went _______________________ (flat lined)

Check for a ground issue, Then signal to the pump to fire, then the return line sizing.

Seems electrical to me after what you're saying about not hearing the pump.

good point..I was thinking mechanical stuff with the return line size and forgot about the whole electrical side. A bad ground would make it do random stuff like its doing.
