Maybe, just had a thought that the one on the Nova may fit it. So may be using it on that.
Weather was rather nice today, hit the upper 30's so went out and did some work.
Got the fuel pump in and both of the fuel filters
Cut off the factory rear bump stop wasn't doing anything anyway. Had to move it in order to fit the mount for the fuel pump.
So get to build bump stops. Not that the other worked but now get to build new ones.
The return line is above the pump. Have to run the fuel line from the pump to the intake. Need to buy some 5/16 hose for the return line from the intake to the hard line. After that its H2O sensors and gauge, O2 sensor and then oil pressure gauge.
Have to decide sense I am going to run a oil pressure gauge and a water temp gauge what to do with the stock ones in the dash.
Not quite ready to get rid of the part of the stock bezel that is left but don't want to leave dead gauges in there.

Got the H2O sensors figured out
The plugs in the heads are not coming out, so had to go this route.
Not going to be able to run a heater but that is OK.
Got a bunch of the wires in and laid out to where they are soposto go. Drilled a hole in the firewall and ran the ones into the cab.
Ran the fuel line from the filter to the front and got it tied up and away from anything that will do it harm.
Have to do the O2 sensor still, and figure out what to mount the computer in to keep it out of the weather.

So my issues
Cant figure out how to convert my old distributor.
The set up I bought has a nice Mallory unit, but if I use it I need to buy new plug wires and a coil. Dont have the money for either at this point so have to use my old one.
The directions are kind of lame and the pictures are not to great so if any of you have done the dist. conversion, need some help.

Not sure about how to attach the shutter wheel.
and I have no lock out plate, so it says to tig the plate on to the shaft. Think I would be ok to mig it?
The shutter wheel sensor doesn't really line up with any of the bolt holes in the disributor. Not sure what to do with that.

So figured out how to mount the shutter wheel.
Going to take a look at another base I have to see if it is a bit different. This base has a weird plate in it that the others in the pictures that I have seen do not.
Oh and I made a throttle linkage set up.

I would tig it Keith. Much more precise way of welding you really run the risk of warpage with the mig
Dont have a tig, but we will see. Cuz it needs something
the ammo box turned out good..you should take a narrow 30 cal and mount it next to it...for glove box stuff
Yeah that may work I need to mount it a bit better then see what will fit and work well. The whole other side towards the door is basically open so I have alot of room there to do what ever.

The other one sits to far away from the firewall. It would be sitting out in the middle with no real support.
It is a side opening one also, not a end opening one. Idea is to give the passenger a place to put their stuff.

So my brother for Christmas has bought me a coil and wires
Went out tonight and fixed the distributor wire and plugged it in.
Then attached the red wire to a positive and put the pink wire to a key power source and wala fuel pump works. Didn't work last time the red wire in the directions says to go to the starter so called to find out if it was power all the time or only when you are starting it an it is all the time.
So once the coil and wires get here should be good to go.
That's farther than I managed to get with it. Nice job!
My only concern right now is leaking fuel and the return line is 1/4 says to use a 5/16 I did not realize the stock one was 1/4 till I had it all set up. So we will see how it works, if not not to awful hard to fix.

So I got out a couple of hammers and did some metal shaping. The some pliers and did some metal bending then some hammers and did some shaping again turned out rather well.
