Blazer's 85 Suburban "Twinkie"

That's what I have on my k5. The plug sticks out the grill and if it's parked long I just plug it in.
I have one on my blazer. Just got it from Harbor Freight. Any time the blazer is going to be parked for awhile I just plug it in.
Only one battery though.

Keith probably raised up over 200 bucks for the little boy who we were helping this year. We did charity rides through the mud pit and Twinkie by far was the prefered vehicle. Keith ran the mud I think 3 times, every seat full.

So after about two hours of washing and three or so more days of drying I think Twinkie may be clean, sort of......

This actually works. We have some sprinklers on adjustable tripods for the pastures. 4 sprinklers, leave muddy toy on trailer, wash for 30 minutes, repeat as needed. Gets no easier.

So I added four new holes to the floor. It helps with draining out the mud and water and anything else that finds the way in. Basically one in the floor of the four seats the fifth shares a floor with the back two so no need for one there.
I then put in rubber freeze plug thingy's to seal the holes, works rather well.

So was looking at my car insurance yesterday, I have progressive for my house hold stuff as well as an ATV policy for Twinkie. They had just cancelled my policy on Twinkie. So I called them, they have been insuring it for over a year with out any issues. I had even listed it as a Subuggy on the description of the vehicle. Basically making sure I was being up front about it. They have now said that it is not insurable as an ATV, and not insurable as a "vehicle" because it has been modified.
So looking at finding a new insurance company, for Twinkie, as well as my household stuff figure if they are going to bail on my I am bailing on them.
Looked into Liberty Mutual for house hold stuff a bunch cheaper then Progressive, and Hagerty for Twinkie. Any thoughts on Hagerty ?

If you don't have any accidents or tickets, Bear River Mutual is pretty cheap. They're very picky about who they insure though.
i had issues with state farm and had to shop around and i found the best deal for my house was allstate, they also happened to be the best deal on my cars. i don't know about the buggy stuff. i'm curious what you find. i think i'll need to look into that soon...
