i got the hydro setup and i had it workin good before i had to change the clutch out now i lost clutch pressure and only have about 50% travel. ( never opened anylines while it was sitting) when i started to rebled the system i started getting black fluid coming out of the bleeder screw does this mean the slave cylinder is bad. also do you pump pedal then crack bleeder or crack bleeder then pump pedal. auto zone had good directions that worked perfect the first time then they took away the tech section so i'm lost now

Crack bleeder, slow pressure on pedal, close bleeder before reaching end of pedal travel.

Reset pedal and repeat.

?? on the black fluid ??

The black fluid could be from hoses disintegrating or it could just be really dirty fluid. Nobody really changes brake or clutch fluid until they have problems with it :dunno:

Yeah when actually the factory recomended change is every 2 years.
This fluid will absorb moisture and after a while the amount of moisture can be very bad on the system.
When i learned that 10 years ago, I started flushing every car I bought and then every 2-3 years after that.
