Dana 60 dual piston caliper

So I finally went to test fit a wheel and these 16” steel wheels do not fit as is.
I’m sure I could grind down the caliper but this is just going to force me to put the 37s and 17s on right now instead of just when I get time.
I have stacked 1/2” of spacers and it still doesn’t clear and these are the ford 16x7 wheels. I would assume the gm 16x6.5 are the same scenario.

That's good to know. So grinding is likely going to be required to clear an old set of 16.5x9.75 mags then too.

Probably. They are hefty and appears to be lots of available material to not worry about it.

Ah, great discussion!

I have been looking at my Duramax master and wondering if that would give more power. And the bigger calipers would be a bonus!

I run this master.

Napa NMC M22191 I have a 6.2L with hydroboost. It bolted right in. It's for a 1983 Chevy P30 with a 6.2L diesel and rear disc brakes. I can't remember the stock master cylinder bore size but I know this one is bigger at 34 mm. I have an 8 lug 10 bolt up front with 3/4 ton calipers and a 14 bolt out back with 1/2 ton front calipers. Stainless braided hoses. Pedal is nice and firm (how I like it). It will lock up 35s no problem. I have a disc/disc prop valve and I had to add an adjustable prop valve to the rear circuit and turn it almost all the way off to get it stop decent on wet/snowy roads. I was going to do a newer MC originally but the pilot on the master where it fits into the hydroboost wouldn't fit so I found this one.
