looks sweet. how much did that set you back? besides the additional 1.44 low end, what made you choose that case over a doubler? weight?

I got it for $1800 to my door. Thats at cost.

Besides it having the lower gears I dont like the doubler because its to long for my taste, heavy, and I would be in it about the same as I paid for this.

See the thing is with my truck , everything that I buy I buy for when I build a buggy some day. My goal is to one day have a small 2 seater 1ton'd buggy. So the Stak was a perfect fit for me.

well you are well on your way:bow: $1800 isnt bad at all. i take it you have a hookup. what do those things usually run?

They usually run $1899, then shipping is about $100.
 
Heres the new skid.

First I made a frame out of some 1"x.120" square to keep the plate from bending.

Heres the frame bolted in. There are 4 3/8" bolts holding it on. Yes a socket fits around the head of the bolt in the tube 8) Should protect the bolts from rocks.

Layed some 1/4" plate on it 8)
