hey this is brett a friend of max 's im blowing white smoke out my exuast what could it be it wasnt firering properly so and i blew through a half tank of gas in about 90km. i changed the spark plugs and wires, cleaned the air filter, cleaned the throddle body and blew the carb out it was very dirty, could this just be that i blew the carb out and its just burning the carbon out of the pipes.

check your coolant and see if you are down from normal and check your oil level to see if it has changed, also see if your oil smells like gas..... any or all of these symptoms would inidicate a blown head gasket

Third...white smoke = head gasket. Could also be intake gaskets, but that is a lot less likely IMO.

Definately a blown head gasket and PROBABLY a cracked head.

A bad intake gasket will only allow water in the oil not into a cylinder where it would burn and turn into white smoke.
