Well I started with an 89 suburban frame.

I then cut off all the body mounts and most of the brackets. I then started to weld all the holes closed. I know it won't make any difference. But I think it will look better in the end.

Ok this has been the topic of some discussion on my Facebook page. So I added tubes to lattice the frame. I figured I can still run fuel and brake lines behind them and the frame won't fill up with dirt. What are your thoughts.

For the rear of the frame I cut off as much as I could and added a piece of c-channel. Then put in a 1 3/4 188 wall tube all the way thru the frame to tie in a receiver hitch.

Then I found it... a one ton crew cab chevy square body. 350,400,205,60,and a 14 bolt for a steal.

For the front I added a 2x6 to the frame and some hangers from DIY4X
