I keep my weapons hardware and ammo ready to roll. My 12ga and CAR15 + 250 rounds of shotgun and 500 rounds of .223 are packed in ammo cans and ready at all times. My LBV sits right next to that stuff... has all my patroling/navigating hardware plus my gas mask etc.
Food/Water and medical junk should be stored/ready too, and once I have my own pad, they will be.

haha, well is anyone is ever trying to get you "from behind" telling you to "drop yer pants" they might not get the shot in the mouth they were lookin for!!!
