I'm replacing the rocker panels and floor sections. I bought this new mount from LMC but, I need new bushings and hardware. This is the rear cab mount behind the passenger seat. I called LMC because I didn't see it in any of their diagrams and they said that they do not offer it. Is it the same part as any of the other bushing? I've looked online and don't see that particular part. Does anyone know who offers these bushings?

Doesn't look any different than the main body bushings i put in my suburban, or the ones I took out.

Short version: Pretty sure the LMC diagram is inaccurate and you need what LMC sells as position #2 bushings/hardware.

Long version:

Pretty sure about the following info but I will come back and update if I'm wrong after I get home and confirm on my '85...

LMC should carry the replacement bushings/hardware you need, which is for the body mount just forward of where the floor steps up into the bed (correct me if I'm misunderstanding which location we are talking about). Refer to the diagram on the below page of their catalog:

https://www.lmctruck.com/body-compo...e-mounting-hardware-and-radiator-core-support

You need the position #2 (LMC terminology, from above) parts. Their diagram makes it look like those parts are at the front of the bed floor, but I am 99% sure there isn't actually a mount there. The mount, at least on the '80s models (after the floor change), is the one you are referring to at the back of the "cab" (as in, not the bed) floor.

I am almost certain there are only 2 body mounts (per side) in the bed area. One at the very back under the tail panel, and another in the bed floor about halfway between the front and back of the wheel houses. These would be positions 4 and 3 respectively on the LMC diagram.

Hope that helps!

One additional comment, clicking on the part numbers on LMC's site, it does look like the bushings, bolts, and retainer cups are identical for positions #1 and #2 (at least for an '85, looks like maybe '81-'84 are different in position #2?).

So it probably wouldn't have mattered either way LOL

I do still think there are only 5 total mounting positions (including core support). I don't think there are 3 positions in the bed (there's a joke in there somewhere...). So I would not order 6 sets of bushings under the assumption that LMC is just missing one of the sets.

That's what I was hoping so I ordered them. Thank you.

Hi. Did you find the bushings?

I accidentally ordered 2 sets of bushings from Energy Suspension Systems.
I’m doing the exact same bushings on my truck ( Chloe ) she’s a 73 they look very similar. Both sets came as a set of six (6) two core support bushings and a total of four (4) for under the cab.
