not recomended.

if you cut directly in half you loose all the strength.

thay are honey comb in the construction. then 1/2 way threw all these body lift blocks thay twist to off set the internals.

so if you cut these in half you losse tons of strength.

That is weird, all mine are extruded the same profile from top to bottom, I am planning on cutting mine down too but from 3" to 2" to match the other 2" I have.

yeah i cut some in half too with no problem

here is a round performance acc block. then a hex shaped trail master block.

with the line you can see what i am talking about for loss of strength if you cut it directly in half. you loose the factory core shift that gives it lots of strength over a std top to bottom style.

Is it a sudden twist or is it s continuous twist?
when you cut it down, it will not really need much strength since it's not too long.
I will look at my 3" again to see if they have this twist too.

1/2 way its a full out of alignment twist.

Then it's no problem cutting them down to half.
They needed the strength because of the length 3" but at 1.5" you're fine.
