Is there any difference between the summit brand body lift and the performance accessories lift? Other than the price? The descriptions on both are pretty much the same on the summit site. Has anyone used the summit brand?

all basicly the same.

how much do you need ?

and why do you want one ? just looks ? or tire clearence ?

there is better ways to clean and not do body lift.

thay tend to be things we dont use around here and also removed from our trucks.

plan on bolts no playing nice when removed . and good time to install new poly body mounts as old rubber orignals will be worn out most likly.

www.offroaddesign.com has a 1" body with made withh aluminum pucks that works real good and gives you that extra inch and also helps with bell housing /tranny work room. and 1" you hardly even see in truck as 2-3" you can tell big time.

and 2-3" kits require fan shroud mods and lots of other bits. there is a lot of steps to install one to clear lots of stuff. make sure its what you need and not just want.

I currently have a 6 inch spring lift. I am in the process of upgrading to new poly body mounts too. Just looking for the extra height and tire clearance without cutting my fenders too much. I wont have the shroud problems since I have swapped in my windstar fans.

yeah, body lift is a body lift. They all have longer bolts and pucks made of some kind of material. That material really doesn't mater, plastic or aluminum, whichever.

Maybe one kit has pieces to fix the problems you'll have with linkages. Dunno
