To say that I feel your pain wouldn't even be close to accurate. I get sad and depressed when I find a pinhole in a rocker and start whining about "rust" and then see what you've got on your hands and are trying to save??

My hat's off to you for taking this on. That is one ugly looking job ahead of you. Kudos for taking the time, effort, and money to save another of the "vanishing breed".

I'll shut up about having some surface rust and (basically) pinholes in a rocker to deal with repairing.

The project got placed on hold due to some health issues. The k5 is still sitting with the door off and metal cut just as I left it weeks ago. I hope to get back out again to it.
