Ive seen a few off road trucks do this and have seen a few pre-runner show trucks around here with them. Has anyone done this? I like the looks and have always thought it was slick. Any issues with doing this?

My exhaust is connected to frame with rubber hangers, so I think there would be enuff flex in the system where this wouldnt be a problem.

Anyone done it? Any pics?

Im in the process of doing it now. Problem is its not the typical Blazer any more. Its a Jeep body now so I dont know how relevant it would be to you. I see your in Florda so your vehicle code will be different than here in California. Here the exhaust can not exit out the side of the vehicle any higher than 24" off the ground and not between 24" and 11'. So Im doing it anyway and I will be at 36" off the ground. :D This is a 77 Jimmy undercarriage and drivetrane. Ive built my own mufflers and exhaust and hope to have it completed here soon.

I also make the aluminum pieces for the through body. This is what it looks like on our truck.

We dont have any rules like that (I believe)

Actually the hull thru is what I was looking at, not cheap though.

Here is what Im probably going to get, i know it wouldnt be hard for someone to fab this up at 1/2 the cost

For less than $144. you could probably find someone at a muffler shop to custom fab one for your application, then install it for you...

that's highway robbery!

Mine runs through the body on the drivers side. Not enough room to run it out the back. Would have if I could. No decent pictures though. Is mounted to the frame with rubber hangers, 1/2 inch of clearance at the body. Has never rubbed.
