Body Trim questions

How do you get the body mouldings off without bending or damaging them??
I have one left on the truck, plus I cannot seem to get the old metal clips off the body.
I want to save the trims!

typically look on the backside of the panel where the clip is, the clip goes thru the body panel and is held in place with a sheetmetal nut
