I need to replace the whole outer bed panel from the door jams back to the tail lights. All I've been able to find are patch panels and 1/4 panels. Is there any company that makes the complete one piece rear panel? I've seen the short bed truck rear outer bed panels and I've been wondering if these are what people use to replace the entire back panels? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

The closet you'll get to a complete patch panel is buying a short bed bedside and removing the skin and cutting 6 inches off of the front of it and making a flange to weld inside the door jamb. Fortunately the sheet metal is usually good in the door jamb from the body line up and doesn't require complete replacement.

No replacement panels are being made, sometimes you can score some OEM panels but you'll pay dearly for em.

As mentioned above, a SWB bedside is the normal fix for a complete side replacement.

How bad is your tub throughout?

Couple pics so you can see the comparision of the two.

The wheel opening is slightly different between the two IIRC....

I remember seeing a photo that compared them and it's not an exact match, but as Kurt said there aren't really any other choices out there.
