try bmpin up the tps to about .7 volts, (move the tps) and bump up the fuel pressure slightly (14-15psi)let us know how it works /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
How do you adjust the tps. Does it slide foward and back or side to side???? How do I bump up my fuel pressure? Can I w/ my stock fuel pump. This is seventyk5 not mtblazer 89. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
I dont rember what wire you have to probe to adjust the TPS. I use my scanner it gives the votage readings for the TPS. You loosen the 2 screws and move the TPS up or down.
I know this aint the best way but you can insert a thin needle into one of the 3 wires and probe it with a digital volt meeter till you find the one putting out .5v with the key on engine not running. Once you find the right wire moove the TPS to get the reading you want. Mine is set at about .68 Be sure to rub some silicone over the needle hole(s) when you are done.
To really get the fuel pressure right you need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. They cost areund 70 bucks from turbocity.com but are worth it.
Here is a way to do it for free but it takes a bit more work:thirdgen.org adjustable FP regulator
Hope this helps and thanks for the link to Rattle Snake Raceway. Maby I can make it to the bogs later this summer and meet you guys. I may also bring my Mustang down to Top Gun and run it this summer.
