Bolts Question?

Working on my blazer, about to mount the leaf springs, shocks, drivelines, and crossmembers to the frame. Does anyone know the specs for any these bolts? I dont have any of the originals, was thinking of maybe going to tractor supply and just picking up bolts, nuts, washers etc that will fit in the holes? Anyone know of anything wrong with that? Thanks in advance!

As long as you use grade 8 bolts of the appropriate length,that should be fine.

For the front you'll need 5" long bolts 9/16 up front and 7/16 at the shackle. In the rear you'll need all 9/16 bolts 4.5" long. as said all grade 8.

I did and use what I call "pinch" nuts, they lock but don't have nylon in them.

I allways buy the largest diamiter bolt (G8) I can fit, bigger bolts are better mmmK hehhee

it seems that shackle ey bolts have no threads on shaft where they sit inside the bushings

so i would think it would be good to find bolts just like that and not threaded up the shank like most are at the stores,

no ?

Probably too late, but 'spring and alignment shops have the proper bolts, too.
