I traded him my '84 crewcab dually. I'm wanting to get a newer one when I get my wifes suburban paid off.

the 39.5's are going on my blazer and maybe the 8" springs
i like the tall trucks too, may not be the ticket for rock crawling, but not everyone is into that (i know that will be a /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif for some people), plus i have a blazer for rocks
i am thinking of trying to go 17 on my m1008 and get some 20 inch wheels and run some of those michelin's that are TALL /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif for a mud truck /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I like tall trucks, too. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif We don't even have any rocks around here, just mud. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
I've dreamed of building a K30 with 12" Superlifts, 1" zero-rates, and custom made 4" polished aluminum body lift for the total 17" lift. Wanted to throw some 46" Firestone Field & Turf tires on it like I had on Brown Turd. Just would look better with the truck up taller to clear the tires better. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

i like tall trucks to! taller the better in my opinion! lol..i want a lifted crewcab...thats my dream truck! crewcab lifted like 8 inches with 38's or something would do it for me! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
i was going to get 17 by 12 inch superlifts, zero rate and 1 inch longer front shackle in front, shackle flip and traction lift ( by trailmaster, i think i still have one in the parts bin) and the 8 inch rear springs, although all my 8 inch rear springs are 52 inchers, and then a 3 inch body lift, might just have to do it with some 44's until i get more money, 454, 400, 208, 5.13 gears unless i change out the 14 bolt for something else

I wanted to do a K30 this way:
1. 12" front and 8" rear Superlifts (need to move the rear shackle hanger forward 4")
2. ORD shackle flip to eliminate blocks.
3. ORD 1" zero-rates.
4. 4" polished aluminum body lift by a machine shop in Salina, KS for $250. (!!!)
5. ORD HD front shackles.
6. ORD Doubler.
7. 5.13 gears.
8. Firestone Field & Turf tires.
9. 16.1 x 18 Weld Racing S/R wheels with 2.5" back spacing. (!!!)
10. Built 454, 400, 203/205 Doubler.

I've always wanted to build a crewcab with a short bed, 2.5 ton rockwells, and 52" michelins. lift,engine/trany/transfer undecided
