I installed Borgeson 935 Steering Shaft today in my 1989 GMC Jimmy. The end at the steering box does not slide all the way on because the torsion bar sticks out too far? Dont want to cut it

Thanks ChrisI did some reading on the torsion bar. Cool info. Looks like the nipple could be cut off with no bad effects. The torsion effect of the bar is between the roll pin (attached to the splined shaft) and the opposite end of it.
